Kanha Jungle Camp

Within a year time we have visited Kanha Jungle Camp for the second time. Pets are allowed in this property and which gives an extra edge. They offer individual cottages with a balcony from where you can touch the trees of jungle. It’s a jungle with all amenities to relax. We love the silence, the cool breeze, the smell of jungle, watching butterflies, listening to chirping of birds. Very clean and tidy house keeping with a clean surroundings. Staffs are polite, gentle and dedicated to serve you with their best. They have a club house with table tennis, chess, carom board and few more games. Cycling was a great fun with family and a long walk within the property was very interesting. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and will be visiting once again very soon.

One of the worst booking experiences any resort could provide. I was supposed to visit in December 2023. Sandeep (reservation desk) gave me an assurance that he will get the safari permits also done. He said “99% it will be done and there hasn’t been a case ever that he has not been able to book a permit for their guests”. So I paid a INR 60k advance for the bookings. The day safari permit opened, he very casually said that they couldn’t do it. When I probed, the response was that he never gave a guarantee and that they will initiate a refund. Eventually, my trip stands cancelled. I had heard so many good things about the resort but the reservation desk is pathetic. They will go to any lengths to get that advance from you for booking and then casually decline the request later. I have been to Kanha 15 times and never has the experience been this bad. All the great ratings are only for the property and the maintenance staff. But to get there, you will have to go through a terrible reservation experience full of false promises. DO NOT rely on them for safari permits, it’s a scam.

One of the best places in Kanha to stay close to Mukki gate. Our stay had been for 4 nights and what impressed us most was their service. Staff as well as managers are always there at your service. Let's first talk about the location. Location of this place is very nice. Although approach road towards the end is rough, its not something one will notice after reaching at the property. Property is big, well managed and close to nature with their vegetable garden and other areas. Rooms are very nice, well maintained, clean and pleasant. Food: Awesome food options are there for all types of meals. Its better to take food at hotel only as no other option available close by. Service: As I said, this was the most impressive part. People are there to help you always. E.g. if you are going on Safari in the morning, there is tea available, they pack breakfast for you and when you are back, someone is there at the gate with refreshing drinks. Charges were a bit on higher side and I guess these fluctuate hence not taking away a star. Would love to go again and stay there.

Probably the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, and that’s not only for the beautiful rooms, pool and landscape, but specially for the people working there. Their naturalist took us on a trip around the property, which is very nice located near the park, to explore and learn about wildlife and flora. Also he came with us to some of the safaris in the park to share some knowledge! All the staff is so very well educated, respectful and kind. Every of them. And you should definitely come to try the food! The chef and the kitchen staff they’re awesome, even the packed food for breakfast was amazing, with very nice coffee by the way :) I’m so grateful with the experience and so sad I had to leave but… we will come back!

Kanha Jungle Camp is a Luxurious resort near to Mukki Gate with spacious & comfortable rooms with great views which give you a feel of camping in the jungle. They have 3 categories of rooms, Ground level, Semi-Elevated and Elevated rooms. Perfect place to spend your weekend along with family and friend. They offer additional activities such as indoor games, swimming pool, cycling, nature walk, etc. The food and service at the place is also good.

I stayed here for three days, it was really a mesmerising experience. The rooms and campus of the property was well maintained. The service was top with very professional staff. Also to mention the food here was great with vide variety and fantastic taste. I really appreciate the chef for this and the serving staff was very attentive too, so that you will have a great dinning experience.
